Born from a vision of mine, this design is a reminder that following Jesus is not always easy. The raw, flesh-like details and deep red tones represent the weight, sacrifice, and work of carrying our cross.

But woven throughout her dress are signs of growth—a picture of how, even through the hard places, Jesus is continually shaping us, strengthening us, and bringing new life from what we carry.

The cross is heavy, but we don’t carry it without Him.
